Job description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, ensuring inventory accuracy, and maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.

Responsibilities

1) Warehouse Operation

  • Support smooth execution of daily warehouse activities, including inbound and outbound processes, and ensure timely completion of stuffing and unstuffing operations.
  • Ensure all Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is in proper working condition. Promptly report any breakdowns to the Supervisor/Manager for immediate action.
  • Verify that all physical goods received and dispatched match the respective documentation, particularly in terms of quantity and cargo condition.
  • Perform cycle count exercises as instructed by the Supervisor to ensure accuracy between physical inventory and the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Update any stock discrepancies to the Supervisor for verification and corrective action.

2) Warehouse Safety and Security

  • Store cargo safely and correctly to prevent potential hazards to staff and visitors.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the Supervisor/Manager immediately and take necessary safety precautions.
  • Adhere to company safety procedures and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times while in the warehouse.

3) Housekeeping

Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse at all times, especially after completing special handling or ad-hoc tasks.
