- Strategic Warehousing & Logistics Operations
- Lead the planning and execution of daily warehousing and logistics operations in alignment with SOPs and business objectives.
- Ensuring tailored service delivery, operational efficiency, and account-specific KPIs are consistently met.
- Ensure achievement of key operational KPIs, including accuracy, lead time, throughput, and service levels.
- Oversee system integrity by ensuring all inventory and transaction data is accurately and promptly updated.
- Drive operational excellence through monitoring and continuous process improvement.
- Lead the implementation of warehouse automation and digital solutions for greater efficiency.
2. Customer Service & Stakeholder Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring service excellence and timely issue resolution.
- Act as the escalation point for customer complaints, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with commercial and customer service teams to align logistics execution with customer requirements.
- Lead the preparation and presentation of operational reports and performance reviews for key clients.
3. Continuous Improvement & Cost Optimization
- Design and implement strategic initiatives to optimize warehousing and distribution efficiency, resource allocation, and cost structure.
- Champion lean practices, workflow improvements, and system enhancements that reduce lead times and improve service delivery.
- Lead cross-functional projects focused on scalability, automation, and operational sustainability.
4. Leadership & People Development
- Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to warehouse and logistics teams across multiple sites or regions.
- Develop talent pipelines by identifying skill gaps, providing training, and promoting internal mobility and leadership development.
- Foster a high-performance culture that embraces continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration.
- Ensure team structures and resource planning support business growth and seasonal demand variations.
5. Facility, Safety & Compliance Oversight
- Ensure all facilities and equipment are maintained to high operational and safety standards.
- Drive a culture of safety and compliance by enforcing company policies, conducting regular audits, and ensuring zero-incident operations.
- Oversee the implementation of preventive maintenance programs and ensure adherence to workplace safety and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation, audit trails, and risk mitigation plans for operational activities.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in warehousing and logistics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale logistics operations and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of WMS, TMS, and ERP systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience in cost control and budgeting.
