BAT MALAYSIAIS LOOKING FOR AN ASSOCIATE WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS MANAGER

SENIORITY LEVEL: Associate Manager

FUNCTION: Operation, Supply Chain

SALARY RANGE: Basic salary + Excellent benefits + Market leading bonus

LOCATION: Damansara City, Kuala Lumpur

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

The role is responsible in ensuring smooth warehouse operations processes in 3PL including inbound, warehouse & outbound process.

Reports to: Primary Supply Chain Manager

Reporting Level: Manage Self

Geographic Scope: DRBU

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Responsible in stocks integrity, management of stocks level within bonded Central Warehouse.
  • To ensure the compliances to SOX controls under purview of this role 4 Sox controls carried out as control operator & supporting operated by other functions by ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Monitor 3PL performance on related KPIs via monthly and quarterly KPI Meetings.
  • Manages the maintenance of Stock Ageing Report and product shelf lives, and reporting into Weekly Team Meetings & monthly Supply & Inventory Review forums.
  • Assessing urgent SKUs based on connectivity required locally and arranging with 3PL port team on any expediting of clearance processes required.
  • Ensuring the security of Inbound indents at port by liaising with port authority PIC on BAT’s every shipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives for increased efficiency & productivity, minimize losses and improvement in Service Levels.
  • Support and ensure the Business Continuity Plans (BCP) are in place and tested regularly.
  • Reexports – Engaging with QA, Regulatory team, Source Factory, 3PL port and WH team to ensure timely door-to-port delivery back to source Factory.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Possess at least a Degree or equivalent in any discipline.
  • Experience of Supply Chain, Planning & Logistics at a local level for a period of 3 years minimum.
  • Competent user of SAP, Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel, particularly Excel (Level II) (Vlook Up Pivot Tables, MACROS)
  • Have a competitive edge and thrive in a team environment
  • Energetic, enthusiastic and calm even in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • A highly independent individual with excellent team-working skills
  • Strength in analytical, interpersonal, communication (oral & written)
