Warehouse Operations Assistant

• Position: Warehouse Operations Assistant.

Chrisjac Recruitment is currently seeking applications from junior warehouse operators to take up the vacancies available with a third-party logistics company in the Port Klang area. They have immediate job openings at their warehouse facilities at both West Port and North Port.
The vacancies are permanent positions and form part of the warehouse operations team to manage the cargo/shipments that have been imported or are to be exported.
About the job
This role will be warehouse-based and therefore not in a conventional office environment. This is a full-time permanent position, and the role is primarily to help facilitate the smooth running of the warehouse operations activities.
General Duties:

1. Perform cargo loading and unloading.
2. To perform physical counts, tally, and surface inspection of cargo upon receiving/delivery.
3. To store cargoes in proper locations assigned within the warehouse.
4. To perform cargo issuance.
5. Picking, packing, and dispatch of cargo according to ownership and destinations.

1. Malaysians in age group 23-38.
2. Punctual with a positive work ethic.
3. Physically fit with the ability to lift and carry.
4. Minimum qualification: SPM or Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or Business.
5. Forklift license will be ideal, useful, and beneficial.
6. The ideal candidate will be well organized with 2-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, picking and packing, customer services, or a similar environment, and have the ability to communicate effectively with the team and customers.
7. 2-3 years of previous warehouse operations experience, especially in a 3PL facility, is highly regarded.
8. Hands-on and hardworking with knowledge of both warehouse and logistics practices.
9. Proficient with the ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Candidates who wish to be considered for this role must be willing to be based within a warehouse environment and have their own means of transport to be accessible to the North Port/West Port area.
