❖ Receive, check, and store goods according to company procedures.
❖ Track inventory levels and assist with stocktaking and replenishment.
❖ Maintain accurate inventory records and report discrepancies to management.
❖ Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch in an accurate and timely manner.
❖ Ensure that orders are correctly labelled and organized for shipping.
• Warehouse Organization:
❖ Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe, following health and safety guidelines.
❖ Assist with the labelling and categorization of stock.
❖ Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks (if trained and certified).
• Shipping and Receiving:
❖ Assist with unloading deliveries and checking for accuracy.
❖ Coordinate with shipping partners to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
❖ Inspect incoming shipments for quality and report damages to management.
❖ Work closely with other warehouse staff and departments to meet productivity and efficiency goals.
❖ Support the warehouse manager in day-to-day tasks and special projects.
❖ Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
❖ Report any safety hazards or issues to the supervisor immediately.
Qualifications:
❖ Minimum High school diploma or equivalent; Any warehouse certification will be added benefit.
❖ Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred but not required.
❖ Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
❖ Basic math skills and attention to detail.
❖ Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items (up to 20kg).
❖ Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software is a plus.
❖ Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
❖ Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one is preferred.
Working Conditions:
❖ Overtime may be required during peak seasons or as needed.
❖ The role involves working in a warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures and physical activity.
