Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management
- Oversee incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock takes, cycle counts and audits.
- Ensure real-time stock level updates in the inventory management system.
- Monitor and manage stock levels, ensuring minimum stock requirements are met.
Process Improvement & Warehouse Layout Optimization
- Enhance warehouse processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Implement best practices to streamline inventory movement and workflow.
- Optimize warehouse layout, racking systems, and space utilization to enhance productivity.
- Identify and address root causes of incorrect deliveries by implementing quality control measures to minimize order discrepancies and enhance accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and safety regulations.
- Analyze inventory trends and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Leadership & Coordination
- Lead and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to SOPs and operational goals.
- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and operations teams to ensure efficient inventory management, order fulfillment and stock optimization.
What You Need to Have?
Education: Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum 5–8 years in warehouse & inventory management, preferably in a trading or distribution environment. Experience in import/export operations and customs regulations is required, while warehouse setup experience is an advantage.
Skills: Strong knowledge of inventory control, stock management and warehouse systems. Ability to analyze inventory trends, optimize stock levels and resolve discrepancies. Strong leadership, problem-solving and coordination skills.
Other: Familiar with ISO standards, safety regulations, import/export regulations and customs compliance.
