Job Summary:
  • Availability to work on:
    • Monday to Friday: Morning and Afternoon shifts
    • Saturday: Morning shift
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience required
  • Expected salary: RM6,000 - RM10,000 per month

Our client, a subsidiary of a Hong Kong public listed company and a China state-owned enterprise, provides integrated logistics solutions including Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance, Haulage, Project Logistics, Contract Logistics, and Cross-Border E-Commerce Logistics. They are seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Warehouse Manager (Mandarin Speaking) based in Kuching, Sarawak, East Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Manage PNL for East Malaysia and develop Contract Logistics Warehouse and Distribution operations.
  • Oversee operations for clients and new business in East Malaysia, including Kuching and Kota Kinabalu.
  • Manage contractors' KPIs and ensure service delivery within customer expectations.
  • Implement policies and execute tasks related to Warehouse Operations, Inventory Management, and system updates.
Key Duties:
Inbound Shipment:
  • Supervise inbound shipments, verify quantities against documents, and report discrepancies.
  • Record received stocks into the client’s system and perform regular cycle counts.
Put-Away:
  • Ensure all inbound shipments are stored within 24 hours and system updated.
Outbound Shipment:
  • Manage order picking, prepare shipping documents, and coordinate with transporters.
  • Update shipment and inventory statuses daily and monitor KPIs.
Inventory Management:
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and report inventory accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and escalate as needed.
Project Management:
  • Plan and lead new project implementations, manage subcontractor performance, and coordinate recruitment with HR.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with HSSE and Good Warehouse Practices.
  • Maintain safety culture, conduct audits, and train new staff.
  • Develop SOPs for client projects and participate in ISO 9001 audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This role involves a 5.5-day workweek, reporting to the General Manager, Contract Logistics. Proficiency in Chinese (spoken and written), English, and Bahasa Malaysia is required. Salary: RM6,000 – RM10,000, commensurate with experience.
