Job summary

An energy solutions company is seeking a WAREHOUSE MANAGER for a 2-year contract on a Biofuel project in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia. The successful candidate will oversee warehouse operations, manage inventory control, and ensure efficient logistics. A minimum of 12 years in warehouse management and experience in refinery construction projects is required. Effective communication in Mandarin is essential for liaising with clients. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience in warehouse management.
• Experience in refinery construction projects, ideally greenfield projects.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics.

Job description

We are looking for a WAREHOUSE MANAGER to work in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia for 2 years contract on a Biofuel project.

Responsibilities

• To oversee the efficient operation of the warehouse / material for the project.
• To manage inventory control, logistics and ensuring timely and accurate distribution of material for the project.
• Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy in inventory records
• Work closely with logistics partners to optimize delivery schedules
• Resolve transportation and distribution issues promptly
• Conduct regular safety check.

Requirements

• Min. 12 years experience in warehouse management
• Must have experience in refinery construction project ideally greenfield project.
• Strong understanding of inventory management and logistics
• Problem solver and ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Successful candidate is expected to communicate effectively and to liaise both in writing and speaking to Chinese clients/contractors who uses Mandarin as their main language for business level communication
• Able to start work within short notice preferred.
