Job description

Job Requirements and Responsibilities

Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse management, especially in the retail sector.

Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivation, and conflict management.

Effective communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listening.

Strong project management skills, decision-making, problem-solving, and strategic planning abilities.

Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

In-depth understanding of industry and company best practices for warehouses.

Familiarity with inventory control practices and logistics.

Comfortable using inventory management software and other organizational computer applications.

Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to walk or stand for long periods.

Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse staff and daily activities.
• Track and coordinate receipt, storage, and timely delivery of goods.
• Supervise order picking, goods in/out operations to ensure accuracy and minimize damage.
• Maintain records, report information, and prepare necessary documentation.
• Monitor and ensure stock accuracy, conduct regular stock takes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintenance standards.
• Perform daily inspections of warehouse grounds.
• Follow procedures in line with company policies.
• Liaise with customers, suppliers, and transport companies.
• Support showroom sales team with labor arrangements for deliveries.
• Assist sales team/customers with product viewing and specifications.
