WAREHOUSE KEEPER JOB DESCRIPTION

Assist in daily operations by working closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager.

Oversees general operations and activities, including shipment handling, deliveries, conducting stock checks, recording warehouse transactions, storage of inventory, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of material handling in the storeroom or external storage.

Responsible for maintaining inventory, receiving stock, placing purchase orders, data entry into the inventory management system, and performing other backup tasks within the store.

Handle day-to-day tasks related to processing goods, including receiving, packing, scanning, and storing goods.

Ensure goods are received, packed, scanned, and stored in an orderly manner.

Scrutinize all deliveries and report defective or incorrect items.

Assist in compliance with special handling requirements, including stacking, moving, and arranging items on racks according to storage plans, and address operational shortfalls and maintenance needs.

Responsible for stock control and housekeeping operations of the storeroom or external storage.

Provide excellent service to the stores by performing duties related to picking and packing of products with accuracy, quality, efficiency, and sustainability, in accordance with company values, policies, and procedures.
