Job description

Introduction
Chrisjac is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Logistics Coordinator for our client who is an established distributor and trader of fresh produce and a full range of canned fruits and vegetables in Malaysia. This position will be based at their business operations center at Bandar Pinggiran Subang in Shah Alam.
Working hours for this role: 8.30am-5.30pm (Monday-Friday)

About the job
This is a full-time permanent role based at the Warehouse in Bandar Pinggiran Subang in Shah Alam area. The role is primarily to facilitate the smooth running of the management of inventory movements and order fulfillment within the warehouse activities. Supporting the distribution operations activities at the warehouse, the incumbent is responsible for ensuring the accurate receipt of goods/cargo into and out of the internal system according to customers' specifications. Additional duties will include generating reports, cross-checking information, and general administration duties.

Role & Responsibilities:
  1. This position is responsible for the warehouse logistics/distribution functions.
  2. Manage and accountable for the warehouse logistics operations including receiving and delivery arrangements.
  3. Ensure stock received is relocated and distributed in a timely manner to retail and supply chain establishments across Malaysia.
  4. Organize and coordinate delivery activities of stocks/products with transporters.
  5. Maintain a high level of customer service to ensure sales orders are processed in a timely manner.
  6. Prepare, record, and ensure proper filing of invoices, Delivery Orders, Credit notes, and delivery documents.
  7. Manage the flow of emails in and out for all warehouse activities.
  8. Manage and control all the warehouse deliveries schedules, including control of movements of merchandise/goods from storage areas in the warehouse to the point of sales.
  9. Monitor and assist with the loading and unloading of merchandise.
  10. Conduct physical inventories to determine losses and identify stocks for distribution.
  11. Handle returns, labeling, and other assigned warehouse tasks.
Job Requirements
  1. Malaysian male aged below 40.
  2. Minimum qualification: SPM or Diploma qualification.
  3. At least 3 years of work experience in managing operations of warehouse/distribution activities.
  4. Be able to demonstrate excellent literacy/numeracy skills.
  5. Computer literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  6. Good communication skills with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  7. Possess own vehicle or have access to a reliable means of transport as public transport is inadequate in this part of Shah Alam.
