WAREHOUSE/LOGISTIC/DRIVER (ASSISTANT/OFFICER/EXECUTIVE)

- To ensure that all materials/goods received and delivered are controlled and documented accordingly.

- To monitor and maintain optimal levels of stock and to reduce the cost of purchases where and whenever possible.

Scope of Work:

The assistant storekeeper / warehouse assistant’s scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  1. Preparing Goods Received Note, verifying materials and quantities received and delivered.
  2. Issuance of materials from the store and maintaining store records of withdrawal, including responsibility for storing all materials in order.
  3. Updating daily logs of materials received and issued.
  4. Preparing materials for customer delivery, including manufactured and sourced-out materials and finished products.
  5. Moving inventory and materials across facilities.
  6. Processing inventory for delivery.
  7. Sorting, organizing, and storing inventory in proper locations.
  8. Packaging items and labeling correctly.
  9. Scanning delivered items and ensuring quality.
  10. Reporting damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
  11. Stacking and organizing large bulk items.
  12. Removing inventory from trucks or shipments and delivering to proper locations.
  13. Updating logs and documentation for inventory processing.
  14. Moving materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up points, or other locations.
  15. Operating heavy machinery like forklifts to move or store inventory (advantageous).
  16. Ensuring workspace is free of debris and removing safety hazards from aisles.
  17. Working as an active team member to achieve team goals.
  18. Preparing documentation and inventory for audits.
  19. Responsible for QMS activities within the department.
  20. Performing ad hoc tasks assigned by management, subject to change.
