Job description

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Report to SUPV and collaborate with internal WH team to achieve goals and overcome obstacles.
  • Familiar with warehouse WIP/SOP. Foresee problems to prevent mistakes and coach new hires.
  • Monitor efficiency and quality of staff to complete daily jobs on time.
  • Resolve common mistakes and errors during daily operations.
  • Supervise teammates to ensure they meet SMC core values - Quality, Productivity, Teamwork, Job Knowledge, Work Environment, Health & Safety, Security, Reliability & Dependability.
  • Propose process and system improvement plans to SUPV to achieve excellence.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Receiving team –
Lead staff to execute daily receiving tasks, ensuring correctness and good condition of received goods. Escalate disqualified shipments to buyer or IQC for inspection.
Maintain accurate daily receiving logs in SAP. Track IQC completion schedules to ensure timely cargo release. Keep damage records of shipments for claims.

Inventory team –
Lead staff to accurately enter cargo data, including Date code, batch, revision, and COO into E-Logbook for inventory control. Ensure daily orders are processed correctly and transferred timely to meet KPIs. Supervise quarterly scrap programs and monitor cycle count and physical inventory for accuracy.

Trucking/Packing –
Lead staff to complete daily orders and ship on time per customer ETD. Verify inventory products match orders and special handling requests. Oversee daily shipment releases to truckers, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition rules.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or higher required; Bachelor’s degree or above preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse operations.
  • Familiar with ERP systems (SAP or others) and WMS.
  • Must possess a Certificate of Safe Handling of Forklift Truck.
  • Detail-oriented, careful, and able to work under pressure and urgent situations.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills for working with relevant parties.
  • Leadership skills to drive team performance.
  • Honest, ethical, and with integrity.
