Job summary

GBM ELECTRONICS (M) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Warehouse Executive to oversee warehouse and shipping activities in our Ipoh, Perak facility.

You will plan, coordinate and monitor the receipt, transfer and dispatch of materials, while ensuring efficient use of space and equipment and strict adherence to systems and procedures. The role requires a minimum of 2 years in a related field, a diploma/degree, and multilingual communication skills in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia to interact with

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in related field or experience or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Basic knowledge of supply chain management in a manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
• Language pruriency in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Carry out warehouse and shipping activities per company targets.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor receipt & transfer of raw materials, semi-finished goods and dispatch of goods.
• Utilize space and handling equipment efficiently; meet quality, budgetary and environmental targets.
• Plan proper warehouse layout and space optimization for safe, efficient material storage.
• Coordinate use of automated and strict adherence to computerized systems.
• Manage material orders (PO & PR) to meet production schedules.
• Respond to internal stakeholders via email and phone.
• Keep stock control systems up to date and inventories accurate.
• Oversee planned maintenance and utilization of material handling equipment and storage facilities.
