- Oversee and support daily warehouse operations by managing manpower allocation.

- Coordinate with customer service teams to ensure timely shipment clearance and deliveries.

- Monitor site access, storage areas, and laydown zones for optimized space utilization while upholding safety standards.

- Enforce and implement warehouse safety procedures, 5S practices, and proper storage methods.

- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and storage optimization.

Shipping & Documentation

- Handle full sets of shipping documents for both import and export processes.

- Liaise with Customs, MIDA, MITI, and other relevant authorities for import/export documentation and approvals.

- Coordinate customs-related matters with both internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Maintain accurate documentation of stock movements, delivery logs, and shipping records

Inventory & Material Management

- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in identifying and resolving discrepancies.

- Monitor material usage and inventory levels to prevent shortages and delays.

- Maintain up-to-date and accurate inventory records; ensure timely stock replenishment.

- Collaborate with warehouse teams to track and manage material flow effectively.

Customer Service & Coordination

- Maintain accurate records of customer orders, interactions, and inventory levels.

- Provide customers with regular updates regarding order status and stock availability.

- Handle customer complaints and inquiries related to shipments, services, or quality.

- Support business development efforts by identifying new opportunities for warehouse services.

- Manage weekly and monthly billing activities, including issuing invoices to clients.

- Prepare and submit periodic performance and inventory reports to management.

Health, Safety & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in all warehouse operations.

- Oversee proper maintenance and servicing schedules for Material Handling Equipment (MHE).

- Foster a safe and hazard-free working environment.

Other Duties

- Assist in sourcing and managing warehouse supplies, tools, and equipment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: -

1. Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field,

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, with a strong focus on warehousing operations, including prior experience as a supervisor.

3. Familiarity with WMS, and inventory management systems is added advantage.

4. Applicant must be willing to work in Pelabuhan Tanjung Pelepas and possess own transport.

5. Able to start immediately will be an advantage.
