Warehouse Controller

Oversee daily warehousing operations of receiving, storage, and deliveries.

Ensure smooth handling of receiving, storage, packing, and delivery of goods.

Prepare delivery documentation and ensure the use of appropriate packing materials and tools for packaging to facilitate deliveries.

Maintain an organized warehouse with designated storage spaces that are safe and easy to navigate.

Follow OSHA safety rules to prevent accidents and damage.

Key Operational Responsibilities

1. Manage overall warehouse operations for efficient receiving, inspection, storing, logistics, and delivery arrangements.
2. Coordinate with supply chain teams for efficient receiving, repacking, and shipping to ensure safe delivery.
3. Manage order fulfillment and ensure on-time delivery to meet customer expectations and compliance.
4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
5. Manage inventory levels.
6. Organize storage to keep goods safely stored.
7. Conduct regular stock counts to ensure accuracy and prevent discrepancies.
8. Ensure all shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation is completed accurately.
9. Manage warehouse inventory system.
10. Ensure health and safety compliance by adhering to safety standards and regulations; coordinate with external vendors for safety audits.
11. Work closely with OSHA coordinators on risk assessments.
12. Train staff on proper handling techniques and safety equipment usage.

Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and inventory control software (e.g., SQL Inventory Control).

Experience

Experience in a similar warehousing or inventory management role is required.

Other Requirements

• Good leadership skills with clear communication abilities.
• Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; knowledge of other dialects is a bonus.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in a multicultural environment.
• Full-time availability and willingness to travel as required.
