Job summary

J&T Express in Malaysia is seeking a Warehouse Assistant / Senior Warehouse Assistant to support receiving, storage, picking, packing and dispatch of goods. You will verify goods against purchase orders and help maintain accuracy and efficiency in daily warehouse operations.

The role requires a minimum qualification such as SPM/Certificate/Diploma, with up to 1 year in warehouse or logistics. You must be dependable, able to work independently, proficient in Microsoft Office, and committed to

Qualifications

• Must possess an SPM, Qualification Certificate, or Diploma in any field.
• Preferably with minimum 1 year of working experience in warehouse or logistics operations.
• Positive attitude and have good interpersonal skills.
• Responsible and able to work independently.
• Able to operate computer application (e.g.Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods and verify quantities, descriptions, and quality against purchase orders.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor.
• Label and store products in the correct locations according to warehouse layout.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper arrangement of storage areas.
• Pick items accurately based on order lists or system instructions.
• Pack and label items securely for delivery or transfer.
• Assist in loading and unloading goods from trucks or containers.
• Ensure all outgoing shipments are complete and documented properly.
• Conduct regular stock counts and update system records.
• Assist in cycle counting and stock reconciliation.
• Follow all warehouse safety rules and use proper PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Support other warehouse functions as assigned by supervisors.
• Coordinate with other departments when needed.
