A leading company in warehouse operations is seeking a Warehouse Assistant to oversee inventory management and dispatch processes. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of relevant experience, be physically fit, and possess a forklift driving license. Job description

· Picking metal parts from stock, check physical condition and packing into crates to make up orders

· Create Packing lists, process, and label all outgoing shipments

· Ensure timely dispatch of goods in accordance with delivery schedules

· Coordinate and liaise with customers and external transporter/forwarder

· Driving of forklift to load and unload goods from truck/container

· Organize, allocate and store materials in the correct location with proper documentation/report recorded

· Perform QC checks on all goods received to ensure compliance with purchase specification

· Perform daily housekeeping of warehouse, maintaining a safe and clean working environment

· Replenish packing material as and when necessary and integrate best practices in handling warehouse material and tools

· Monitor forklift and pallet jack usage and coordinate regular maintenance

· Ability to anticipate job activities, prepare tools and equipment

· Undertake any ad-hoc duties assign

Inventory Management

· Ensure goods are dispatched in accordance to First-In, First-Out principle

· Conduct regular stock takes and reconcile discrepancies and participate in internal and external stock audit

· Updating stock card on daily basis

Health & Safety

· Access and adhere to area Safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations

· Serve as an active participant in Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security programs by reporting all related concerns or problems immediately

· Handle materials by applying ergonomic techniques

· Be vigilant in preventing incidents of personal injuries, safety hazards or environmental releases

Job Requirement :

· At least 3-5 years of warehouse experience / relevant industries

· Must be physically fit to carry heavy metals

· Possess Forklift driving license. Those without forklift license but demonstrate ability to drive a forklift and is willing to attend forklift certification course arrange by the company are welcome to apply

· Proficient in MS Office Applications

· Able to perform work with minimal supervision

· Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

· Possess positive attitude, with a mindset that strives for constant improvements

· Pro-active attitude – able to anticipate issues and resolve them effectively and efficiently

· Able to be on standby after office hours for any unforeseen circumstances
