Warehouse Operations Job Description

The role involves covering various warehouse activities such as Receiving, Picking and Packing, and Loading bay operations to ensure on-time and accurate delivery within KPI targets.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Checking incoming orders and planning/organizing packing for daily pick-up through data entry.
2. Preparing orders by processing requests, replenishment activities, picking and packing boxes, and managing shipment documentation.
3. Carrying out duties related to loading and unloading (loading bay team), transferring (reception team), sorting, storing, checking, picking, packing, wrapping, and labeling outgoing goods.
4. Packing goods with suitable cartons or greyboxes according to customer location.
5. Storing goods in the consolidation area based on customer location.
6. Ensuring accuracy of inbound/outbound goods as per supporting documents.
7. Handling goods safely during picking, loading, reception, and stocking to prevent damages or injuries.
8. Neatly arranging received goods with proper segregation by nature of sports.
9. Completing and updating reports accurately and timely into the daily panel information.
10. Adopting good housekeeping and safety practices to maintain an organized, safe, and efficient workspace.
11. Monitoring stock levels, investigating discrepancies, and initiating corrective actions.
12. Collaborating with team members and managers to ensure smooth daily operations.
13. Operating reach-truck and pallet runner equipment.
14. Performing ad-hoc tasks and activities within the warehouse.
