Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and cold chain logistics.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Job description

Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, and dispatching food products.

Ensure compliance with food safety standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000).

Maintain accurate inventory records using Autocount, WMS or ERP systems.

Implement and monitor FIFO/FEFO inventory practices.

Logistics Management:

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including transportation scheduling and route optimization.

Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery.

Monitor cold chain logistics and ensure temperature-sensitive goods are handled appropriately.

Supervise and train warehouse staff, including forklift operators and logistics coordinators and supervisors.

Promote a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Conduct performance reviews and manage staffing levels.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.

Conduct regular audits and inspections of warehouse and logistics processes.

Prepare reports for senior management on KPIs, stock levels, and logistics performance.

Job requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse and logistics management, preferably in the food industry.

Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and cold chain logistics.

Proficient in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

Experience with Autocount/ERP systems

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
