About the role

RHB Banking Group is seeking dynamic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Personal Bankers in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a Personal Banker, you will be responsible for providing personalised financial solutions and exceptional customer service to our valued clients. This full-time role offers the opportunity to be part of a leading financial institution and contribute to the growth and success of our Sabah operations.

What you'll be doing

Actively engage with customers to understand their financial needs and provide tailored banking products and services

Process customer transactions, including account openings, loan applications, and investment placements

Cross-sell relevant banking products and services to grow our customer base and deepen existing relationships

Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with all relevant policies and regulations

Collaborate with the broader team to deliver a seamless and exceptional customer experience

Contribute to the achievement of branch and individual sales targets

What we're looking for

Strong customer service orientation with the ability to understand and address customer needs

Sales-driven mindset and the ability to cross-sell banking products and services

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Relevant experience in the banking or financial services industry is preferred

Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with proficiency in Mandarin or other local dialects being an advantage
