• Extensive knowledge of food and beverage in order to service and upsell our product, including liquors and cocktails.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the standards of Food and Beverage service are maintained.
• Anticipate guest needs, ensuring guests never have to ask for anything.
• Report deficiencies or breakage of operational equipment to the Assistant Managers.
• Increase the average food and beverage check and promote sales.
• Monitor and supervise small VIP functions not handled by the Banquet Department.
• Ensure that orders are delivered at the proper temperature.

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Food & Beverage Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Waiter/Waitress responsibilities include greeting and serving our guests, providing detailed information on menus, multi-tasking various front-of-the-house duties in a fast-paced environment. The Waiter/Waitress reports to the Restaurant Manager / Assistant Restaurant Manager.

As Waiter/Waitress, you will beresponsiblefor the following duties:
