Job summary

Citigroup Inc. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Vice President to lead the Core Operations for Digital Asset Custody.

You will oversee end‑to‑end custody activities, ensuring secure, accurate, and timely processing of digital asset transactions within a 24/7 shift model. You will manage a team of AVPs and analysts, drive process improvements, automation, and scalable operations, and partner with product, technology, risk, compliance, and client service to deliver a high‑quality client experience.

Qualifications

• 10–14+ years in custody or related operations.
• 4+ years in leadership roles.
• Strong understanding of crypto, blockchain, tokens (ERC-20/721).
• Experience with risk and control frameworks in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily digital asset custody operations to ensure secure settlements.
• Lead and develop AVPs and analysts, promoting accountability and excellence.
• Own risk, control, and regulatory adherence across global frameworks.
• Collaborate with Tech, Product, Risk, and Compliance to drive automation.
