Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a graphic designer with a strong portfolio and proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro. The role requires translating creative concepts into compelling designs for print, digital, social media, and websites.

The candidate should have 1-2 years of professional experience in graphic design and a Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent. English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia communication is valued to collaborate with a diverse team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Graphic Design or equivalent practical experience.
• 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Proven graphic design experience with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of creative projects.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere Pro.
• Ability to translate concepts into visual designs for print, digital, social media.
• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and composition.
• Excellent communication in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Handle promotional copywriting in a creative manner.
• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software
• Contributing to team efforts by accomplishing tasks as needed.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.
• Design marketing materials for digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and website.

Proficiency in industry-standard graphic design software, including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe Premiere Pro.

Excellent understanding of design principles, including typography, color theory, layout, and composition.

Experience in creating visual assets for marketing campaigns, social media content, and website graphics.

Strong communication skills in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia to effectively collaborate with a diverse team.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
