Job summary

Cohu Malaysia is seeking a Vision Product Engineering Manager to own the quality delivered to operations and service and ensure customer specifications are met at engineering level. You will help shape global vision technology strategy with our R&D and innovation center.

You will lead a multi-disciplinary team, drive technical strategy, deliver high-quality results, and coordinate with customers, colleagues, and global R&D to enable continuous improvement and factory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics or related engineering field.
• 6+ years of relevant engineering experience with in-depth product knowledge and industry background.
• Sharp problem-solving and self-motivation—you find the root cause rather than the workaround.
• Ability to run several projects at once and to work independently and in a team.
• Strong spoken and written English, for customers, colleagues and global R&D alike.
• Willingness to travel—moderate to high, domestic and international.
