A leading company in the immigration consultancy sector is seeking a skilled immigration compliance specialist to manage foreign employee visa matters. The role requires liaising with government agencies, handling applications and renewals, and providing expert advice on immigration laws. Candidates should have relevant experience in Malaysia with strong communication skills in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in Mandarin for communication with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in work pass and visa processing.
  • Familiar with Malaysia’s Employment Pass regulations.

Job description

Handle full spectrum of foreign employee immigration matters including Employment Pass (EP), Professional Visit Pass (PVP), Dependent Pass (DP), and related visa types.
全面负责外国员工的工作准证申请(包括 Employment Pass、Professional Visit Pass、Dependent Pass 等)。

Manage timely applications, renewals, and cancellations of work permits and visas.
跟进签证申请、更新、取消等流程,确保合规及时。

Liaise with immigration authorities (e.g. MDEC, ESD, MYXpats Centre, JIM) and ensure full compliance with immigration regulations.
与 MDEC、ESD、MYXpats Centre、移民局(JIM)等政府单位协调,处理移民事务。

Maintain accurate records of foreign employees’ visa statuses and ensure zero expiry/penalty incidents.
建立并维护外国员工签证记录,避免逾期或罚款风险。

Assist foreign hires with onboarding and visa documentation needs.
协助新聘外国员工准备签证资料并办理相关手续。

Provide advice to management on immigration law changes and work pass strategy.
持续更新与解读马来西亚移民法规,提供内部法规咨询。

Prepare documents and support for foreign staff audits and inspections.
准备外籍员工的移民文件审查与配合稽核。

Monitor and stay updated with changes in compliance regulations and and requirements impacting licensing processes and industry best practices, and provide follow-up advice to the Management.

Provide guidance on licensing requirements and compliance issues to the Management and internal teams.

Review local and overseas clients’ contract agreements and corporate or compliance documentation.

Regularly communicate with external regulators to assist with compliance matters, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of policies and regulations.

At least 2–3 years of experience in work pass and visa processing in Malaysia (MDEC, ESD, MYXpats system).

Familiarity with Malaysia’s Employment Pass regulations and immigration law.
熟悉马来西亚雇佣准证相关法规(Employment Pass Tier 1、Tier 2)

Good communication skills (both written and verbal) in English, Bahasa Malaysia and knowledge of Mandarin will be an added advantage for Chinese speaking Clients.
