A leading company is seeking a project support engineer for MRO project deployment in Seremban. The role involves assisting in project management tasks, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with safety and industry standards. Candidates should possess a degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, have hands-on industrial experience, and be proficient in communication skills.
The objective is to assist the project manager in managing the MRO project deployment.
This will includes:
• Formalization, implementation, and facilitation of various coordination processes
• Formalization and implementation of reporting to management, weekly and monthly reporting
• Supporting contributors in project management processes
• Budget tracking
• Coordinate with the supplier of the equipment:
o Scope of Work
o Input and output information
o Capital expenditure request, Purchase request
o Schedule
o Limit of supply
o Coordination meetings with supplier and purchasing group
o Ensure design is compliant with Safran Rules (EHS, Ergonomic…) and local regulations
• Coordinate with engineering company
• Conduct rigorous safety assessments and risk analyses to identify and mitigate potential hazards jointly with HSE Officer.
• Adhere and actively participate in occupational Safety, Health and Environmental; and Energy policies, procedures and activities such as I-See I-Act, general planned inspection, low carbon initiative, etc.
• Adhere and comply with Business Ethics, Anti-Corruption, Flight Safety Management System, and others relevant policies, procedures and activities
• Perform other related duties as required.
• Engineer in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in industrial process.
• Excellent communication, team player and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
• Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office application
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Fluent in English both speaking and writing.
