Axens recrute un/une Junior Business Developer – Plastic Recycling pour rejoindre l'équipe SEA CIAL, basé à Kuala Lumpur et rattaché au Business Development Manager, Plastic Recycling. Vous contribuerez au développement des activités de recyclage des plastiques sur la région Asie-Pacifique (hors Chine, Inde, Japon).
Vous collaborez avec les équipes locales et globales pour promouvoir les solutions Axens et accompagner les opportunités commerciales, tout en assurant le suivi des parties prenantes
Qualifications
- Diplôme d'ingénieur et/ou diplôme en commerce/affaires.
- Première expérience (stages ou 1–3 ans) dans l'énergie, les produits chimiques, le recyclage ou les marchés industriels.
Responsibilities
- Soutenir le développement des activités de recyclage plastique à travers l'Asie Pacifique.
- Promouvoir Axens via les réseaux sociaux et les supports marketing conformes à la stratégie.
- Identifier les interlocuteurs clés et suivre les opportunités commerciales.
- Contribuer au reporting marché et à l'intelligence commerciale.

Based in Kuala Lumpur at Axens South East Asia, and reporting hierarchically to the Business Development Manager- Plastic recycling in Axens SEA CIAL team, the Junior Business Developer – Plastic Recycling will support the development of Axens’ plastic recycling activities across Asia Pacific (excluding China, India, Japan).
Assigned to the CIAL team locally and reporting to the New Development & Transformation Business Division group in Rueil Malmaison / Lyon, under the responsibility of the Business Development Manager, you will have the following missions :
- For the Plastic Recycling Market you will play a key role in networking on identified main key stakeholders in order to secure Axens position for the new project being developed in the region and promote Axens name and technologies
- For the marketing, you will have to promote Axens on social media in line with marketing plan, corporate communication and Axens branding. This role is designed as a hands‑on business development position, combining market intelligence, prospecting and marketing support. You will work closely and assist the Business Development Manager- Plastic recycling in Axens SEA CIAL.
- Keep track and get updated on the different legislations that can impact the chemical recycling of plastics in the region.
- Contribute to the identification, qualification, and follow‑up of business opportunities related to plastic recycling technologies.
- Support the mapping of key stakeholders across the plastics recycling value chain.
- Assist in prospect approach, preparation of client meetings, presentations, and follow‑ups. - Contribute to market reporting, competitive intelligence and regional trend analysis.
- Support development of marketing materials adapted to Asia Pacific markets.
- Contribute to Axens visibility at conferences, events and through digital communication.
- Coordinate marketing actions in compliance with Axens branding guidelines.
- Engineer degree and/or Business / Commerce degree.
- First experience (internship or 1–3 years) in energy, chemicals, recycling, sustainability or industrial markets.
- Strong interest in circular economy and plastic recycling.
- Business acumen in an international environment.
- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts.
- Fluent in English.
- Comfortable with office tools, CRM systems and digital platforms such as LinkedIn
- Proactive, curious, analytical and team-oriented mindset.
