Job summary

MOM Properties in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled video editor to join our marketing team. You will edit raw footage into engaging content, add motion graphics, color grade, and ensure high-quality sound.

Collaborate with marketing and content teams, manage multiple projects, and deliver on brand guidelines across social, web, and presentations. A strong portfolio and proficiency in Final Cut Pro and After Effects are essential. Fluency in English, Malay, and Mandarin is preferred.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to edit video content using professional software such as Final Cut Pro, demonstrating a strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
• Experience in creating and implementing motion graphics to enhance video content, including title sequences, lower thirds, and animated elements.
• Proficiency in sound design, including audio mixing, sound effects integration, and ensuring clear, high-quality audio for all video projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment, taking direction and providing creative input.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin, enabling effective collaboration with diverse team members and stakeholders.
• A strong portfolio showcasing a range of video editing projects, demonstrating creativity, technical skill, and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with various video formats, codecs, and delivery standards for different platforms (e.g., social media, web, broadcast).
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to understand project scope, objectives, and target audience for video content.
• Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final products, incorporating B-roll, graphics, music, and sound effects.
• Apply color correction and grading techniques to enhance visual appeal and maintain brand consistency.
• Create and integrate motion graphics, titles, and lower thirds using software like After Effects to elevate video production value.
• Perform basic sound design and mixing to ensure clear audio and an immersive viewing experience.
• Manage and organize video assets, project files, and archives efficiently.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and software advancements to continuously improve workflow and output.
• Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and make necessary revisions to video edits.
• Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and technical specifications for various platforms (e.g., social media, website, presentations).
