Job summary

Aestech Pro is seeking a junior video editor in Malaysia for social media, marketing campaigns, and corporate presentations. No prior experience is required as training will be provided; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

You will edit footage, add transitions, music, graphics, and collaborate with marketing to ensure branding alignment while managing multiple projects with strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Multimedia, Mass Communication, Film Production, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• No prior experience is required; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as training will be provided.
• Familiar with video editing software and tools.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics, animation, and visual effects is an advantage.
• Creative with a strong sense of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects within deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, corporate presentations, and other digital platforms.
• Trim footage, add transitions, music, sound effects, subtitles, graphics, and motion elements to create engaging content.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative team to understand project requirements and deliver videos that align with the company's branding and objectives.
• Manage and organize video footage, project files, and digital assets.
• Ensure all video content is delivered on time while maintaining high production quality.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing techniques, social media trends, and industry best practices.
• Perform basic color correction, audio enhancement, and video optimization for different platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
• Assist in planning video concepts, storyboards, and creative ideas when required
