Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a dynamic content creator to produce engaging short-form video content for multiple platforms. You will shoot, act, and edit, bringing diverse characters to life while collaborating with the team to develop compelling concepts.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience, confidence on camera, and strong communication. Portfolio is preferred; training and growth opportunities are offered in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in content creation, acting, presenting, hosting or a related field.
• Confident and natural in front of the camera.
• Good acting and expression skills — this is a must!
• Experience with video shooting and editing.
• Familiar with video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or similar.
• Comfortable playing different characters and trying unconventional ideas.
• Able to take direction and execute quickly.
• Creative, energetic and not afraid to experiment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Portfolio or showreel is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and appear in short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and other platforms.
• Shoot and record video content using cameras, smartphones or other equipment.
• Act and portray different characters, personalities and situations.
• Edit videos into engaging and entertaining short-form content.
• Work with the team to develop creative video ideas and concepts.
• Follow scripts and creative direction while bringing your own personality to the content.
• Work with the video team to develop fun and engaging content ideas.
• Stay updated with social media trends, viral content and popular formats.
• Be flexible during shoots and willing to try different concepts.
• Manage the content process from idea → shoot → edit → final video.
• Collaborate with the team from idea to final video.
