Vice President, Treasury Corporate Forex Sales
Job Description:
Financial
- Lead, assist, and manage FX Business and all FX-related matters to ensure smooth FX dealings.
- Assist in managing cost efficiency within FX Corporate Sales.
- Ensure yearly targets for profit and transaction volume are met.
Business and Strategy Execution
- Quote FX pricing for the Bank’s corporate clients, including special rates and competitive pricing against benchmarks.
- Generate optimal profit for the Bank.
- Focus on specific sectors: Travel, Education, Government/Agencies, GLCs/GLiCs, SMEs, and eBanker potential clients.
- Maintain relevant reports and analysis to track business performance (Daily/Monthly/YTD, Gold/Silver/Bronze Trackers, etc.).
Other Initiatives
- Realign counter rates for competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
- Utilize Nostro agents for maximum returns.
- Introduce Dynamic Hedging forward.
- Optimize payment modes for better client selection.
- Protect TOP 50 clients and engage TOP 100 clients further.
- Develop regional marketing strategies.
- Support educational/training activities for the team.
Risk and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements, including BNM’s guidelines and reporting standards.
- Maintain integrity and professionalism in all dealings, ensuring transactions are Shariah compliant.
Customers
- Market to and maintain relationships with corporate customers.
- Conduct regular visits and provide excellent service to expand the customer base.
- Address customer requirements and promote bank products and services.
People Management & Development
- Train, coach, and mentor team members.
- Guide Dealers to perform effectively and provide ongoing training on FX market updates.
Advisory and Training
- Conduct training sessions on FX topics for internal and external clients.
- Consult with corporate clients on market challenges and solutions.
