We’re currently looking for a high-caliber professional to join our team as Vice President, Operations Manager - Legacy Franchise (Hybrid) (Internal Job Title: Ops Sup Sr Manager - C13) based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Responsibilities
  • Manage professional teams and departments through delegation of tasks and responsibilities
  • Conduct performance evaluations, compensation decisions, hiring, disciplinary actions, and terminations, and maintain staffing requirements
  • Monitor the team’s quality and efficiency; manage training and development needs of personnel
  • Create and develop budget, policy formation and short-term resource planning
  • Manage occasionally complex issues with significant departmental impact
  • Coordinate with related functions to contribute to overall goals of the function
  • Provide evaluative judgment based on analysis in complicated and unique situations
  • Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards
  • Operate with a limited level of direct supervision
  • Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy
  • Serve as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members
  • Ability to manage teams
  • Assess risk when business decisions are made, driving compliance with laws and policies, safeguarding Citi, clients and assets, escalating and reporting control issues with transparency
Qualifications
  • 6-10 years of experience in Financial Services; Commercial Banking experience is an advantage
  • Extensive knowledge of Client Onboarding processes
  • Working knowledge of Commercial Liability Account Opening, Maintenance & AML requirements
  • Working knowledge of Systematics, Filenet, Citi KYC, Workforce Management (WFM) and Commercial Liability Products
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree preferred
