As the Vice President of Media Sales, you will work closely with the CEO to lead the Media Sales Department. You will be responsible for formulating and executing overall media sales strategies, expanding the client base, and driving sales performance. You will build strong relationships with advertisers, media agencies, and corporate marketing teams to fuel business growth and lead the team in achieving KPIs and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the CEO to lead and motivate the sales team, including training, managing team dynamics, and resolving internal issues to reach consensus.
  2. Develop and refine the company’s media sales strategies and annual sales targets.
  3. Analyze sales performance and market trends to provide actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  4. Lead the team to meet quarterly and annual sales goals, as well as client satisfaction metrics.
  5. Understand clients' needs in-depth and develop media solutions.
  6. Identify and acquire new clients while supporting the team in maintaining and growing existing client relationships.
  7. Work closely with internal departments and the operations team to optimize the sales conversion process and improve efficiency from lead to closing.
  8. Represent the company at industry events, forums, and meetings to enhance brand visibility and business opportunities.

Requirements:

  • 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in media sales, preferably in an advertising agency or similar environment.
  • A strong network and solid client relationships with advertisers, brand marketers, or media agencies.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage goals and motivate teams effectively.
  • Familiarity with media planning and buying across various channels (TV, digital, social media, etc.).
  • Excellent negotiation skills and strong business acumen.
  • Strong communication skills with proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Responsible, self-driven, and results-oriented.
