Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee the end-to-end loan operations function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of loan disbursements, repayments and documentation

Develop and implement operational policies, procedures and controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risks

Monitor and analyse operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous process optimisation

Lead and mentor a team of loan operations specialists as the Head of Department, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and productivity

Collaborate closely with various internal stakeholders, including relationship managers, credit risk and compliance teams, to deliver seamless customer service

Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices, and ensure the department’s compliance with all relevant laws and regulations

Requirements:

Minimum 8 years of experience in loan operations or corporate banking, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

In-depth knowledge of banking regulations, policies and procedures, particularly in the areas of loan processing and documentation

Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team of professionals

Proficient in using banking systems and technology to streamline operations
