Vice President Human Resource
Remuneration: RM18,000 - RM23,000 + Bonus

Our Client is a leading Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) provider in Malaysia, specializing in delivering exceptional customer experience and back-office solutions across diverse industries. We are a dynamic and rapidly growing organization on the cusp of an exciting new chapter, preparing for an Initial Public Offering (IPO). We are seeking a visionary and results-driven leader to spearhead our Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Administrative, Corporate Communications, and ESG strategies, driving our people agenda as we embark on this transformative journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic HR Leadership
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and initiatives that are tightly aligned with the company's overall business objectives and growth plans.
- Serve as a key strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team on all human capital matters, organizational design, and change management initiatives, particularly those related to the industry.
- Ensure HR systems, processes, and data integrity meet the heightened scrutiny and reporting demands of a BPO.
- Drive talent management, succession planning, and leadership development programs to build a robust leadership pipeline capable of supporting sustainable growth.
- Talent Acquisition
- Lead and strategically oversee the entire talent acquisition function, from workforce planning and employer branding to sourcing, recruitment, onboarding, and retention for a high-volume BPO environment.
- Develop innovative and cost-effective recruitment strategies to attract, assess, and secure top-tier talent across all levels, ensuring a strong fit with our culture and business needs.
- Implement advanced recruitment technologies and analytics to optimize recruitment efficiency and candidate experience.
- Human Resources Management
- Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions including compensation & benefits, performance management, employee relations, industrial relations, HR policy development, compliance with Malaysian labour laws, and HR administration.
- Champion employee engagement, well-being, and diversity & inclusion initiatives to cultivate a positive, inclusive, and productive workplace culture.
- Develop and manage training and development programs to enhance employee skills, foster continuous learning, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Administrative & Corporate Services
- Provide strategic oversight and direction to the administrative functions, ensuring efficient operations, facilities management, and support services across the organization.
- Optimize administrative processes and resource allocation to support business objectives and maintain a productive working environment.
- Corporate Communications
- Develop and execute comprehensive internal and external corporate communication strategies that align with business goals and support brand reputation.
- Oversee internal communications to ensure clear, consistent, and engaging messaging to all employees.
- Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG)
- Lead the development, implementation, and reporting of the company's ESG strategy and initiatives, with a strong focus on the "Social" (S) and "Governance" (G) pillars relevant to HR and BPO operations.
- Drive initiatives related to fair labour practices, employee well-being, diversity & inclusion, community engagement, and ethical business conduct.
- Ensure adherence to ESG reporting frameworks and prepare relevant data and narratives for public disclosure, contributing to the company's sustainability profile for investors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or professional HR certification (e.g., HRCI, SHRM) is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 15 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5-7 years in a senior management role (Director/VP level).
- Strong command of Malaysian labour laws, regulations, and best HR practices.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing comprehensive talent acquisition strategies for high-volume recruitment.
- Solid understanding of corporate communications principles and experience in managing internal/external messaging.
- Awareness and practical experience in developing or implementing ESG initiatives, particularly relating to human capital and governance.
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
