Vice President - Credit Transaction & Management (CTM)

Job Summary

You will manage and develop a team of credit professionals responsible for a portfolio of credit relationships. Your role includes providing administrative oversight, leading stakeholder relationships within the bank to support the growth of RBC Capital Markets' loan book and trading business.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Annual Reviews: Manage workflow to ensure timely reviews of credit relationships, conduct regular team reviews to maintain quality and identify learning opportunities.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure credit agreements and documentation are accurately reflected and reviewed in the bank's systems.
  • Monitoring: Oversee reporting requirements and escalate breaches appropriately.
  • Delegated Lending Authorities: Ensure team compliance with approval authorities through oversight and coaching.
  • Audit: Coordinate responses to credit information requests from auditors and regulators.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain positive relationships with internal teams and serve as the primary contact for your team.

Team Management & Development: Coach and develop credit professionals, provide feedback, and stay updated on policies and industry trends.

Global Collaboration: Collaborate across time zones to ensure seamless communication and task execution.

Additional Responsibilities: Presentations, reporting, and process reviews to foster continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years in corporate lending, credit risk, or client management.
  • Degree in Business/Finance; MBA or professional designations are assets.
  • Strong financial analysis, credit documentation knowledge, and communication skills.
  • People management experience and ability to prioritize under pressure.
