Position Overview

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and the veterinary team.
• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians in medical procedures and treatments.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the clinic, including sterilization of equipment and preparation of examination rooms.
• Provide compassionate care to animals, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
• Assist during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures to ensure smooth workflow.
• Prepare and organize examination rooms, surgical suites, and treatment areas.
• Care for animal patients, including feeding, grooming, exercising, and monitoring behavior and vital signs.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed, documenting procedures accurately.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pet's condition, treatment, and home care instructions, using Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin as needed.
• Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.
• Handle and restrain animals safely and humanely.
• Support the veterinary team with tasks such as answering phones, scheduling, processing payments, and maintaining the reception area.
