Job Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, execute, monitor, review (including audit and analysis), and continuously update breeder, broiler, hatchery/flock health programs, and farm bio-security guidelines to ensure best practices, maximize health and production, and minimize disease risk.
- Plan, develop, execute, monitor, review (including audit and analysis), and update flock health status, laboratory and screening methods, and SOPs.
- Manage veterinary supplies and SOPs to support the flock health program effectively.
- Handle fiscal functions related to veterinary medication, laboratory, and store management, including asset management, expenditure, stock movement, and sales documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Good Animal Husbandry Practices, MyGAP/Compartmentalization, animal welfare, antimicrobial management, and residues to optimize breeder, broiler, and hatchery management.
- Collaborate with local authorities (DVS, DOE, JPS) and trade associations to ensure environmental and legal compliance, and assist farmers with permits and certifications.
- Lead staff training, operational analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maximize flock/hatchery health through veterinary observation, husbandry, clinical analysis, and bio-security practices.
- Provide technical support and advice to customers on bird health, management, and hatchery operations.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
