Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a practical Vendor Management Manager to oversee and optimize the vendor ecosystem. You will lead a small operational team, drive onboarding, risk screening, and ongoing performance audits while ensuring ethical and financially sound partnerships.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will manage daily workflows, implement ESG criteria, and build frameworks for vendor audits. Strong experience in vendor management and financial analysis is required.

About the Company

We are looking for a practical, proactive, and analytical Vendor Management Manager to oversee and optimize our vendor ecosystem. You will be heavily involved in the day-to-day execution of workflows while leading a team.

You will own the end-to-end vendor lifecycle—from strict risk screening and initial compliance to onboarding and ongoing performance audits—ensuring our business operates only with reliable, ethical, and financially sound partners.

About the Job

• Hands-on Operations: Drive daily operational vendor workflows. This is an active, execution-focused role where you will manage regular processes and solve problems directly alongside your team.
• Vendor Onboarding: Build, maintain, and continuously streamline the end-to-end vendor onboarding process for seamless business integration.
• Risk & Financial Compliance: Conduct rigorous due diligence on potential and current partners. Actively evaluate vendor financial status, bankruptcy/solvency risks, overall financial compliance, and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) criteria.
• Vendor Auditing: Establish frameworks for, schedule, and execute regular vendor audits to ensure continuous alignment with company standards, quality control, and regulatory compliance.
• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a small operational team, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Manager / Team

You will be reporting directly to the Head of Procurement, a strategic leader with extensive experience in vendor governance and supply chain optimization.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in Vendor Management.
• Strong, demonstrable experience in vendor financial analysis, bankruptcy checking, and compliance tracking.
• Solid understanding of evaluating ESG criteria within vendor management.
• Experience planning and executing structured vendor audits.
