We are looking for a dynamic, energetic Protégé who is enthusiastic about Oil and Gas operations focused on enhancing processes, performance, and efficiency scopes. We are immediately hiring fresh graduates to be our Velesto Trainee (Protégé) for Business Process/Continuous Improvement (C.I.) Junior Analyst under Quality department, joining us as early in May 2025.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the Department in process improvement initiatives by contributing to specific deliverables, assisting in workflow analysis, and proposing enhancements under supervision.
- The role aims to provide practical exposure to corporate processes while ensuring meaningful contributions to the department's ongoing projects and initiatives.
- Process Documentation and Analysis:
- Assist in mapping, documenting, and updating current business processes to create accurate workflows for department reference.
- Analyze collected data to identify inefficiencies and propose preliminary recommendations to optimize workflows.
- Support Process Improvement Initiatives:
- Contribute to small-scale improvement projects, delivering specific assigned tasks to meet project objectives.
- Collaborate with team members to test and implement minor process changes, ensuring measurable improvements in efficiency.
- Business Tools and Techniques Implementation:
- Apply relevant tools (e.g., process mapping, data visualization) learned during training to real scenarios within the department.
- Support the team in maintaining and updating process repositories or databases.
- Data Collection and Reporting:
- Collect and organize data from internal stakeholders to support process analysis and improvement projects.
- Prepare reports and presentations highlighting findings and insights that can contribute to decision-making processes.
- Stakeholder Collaboration and Contribution:
- Assist in meetings with internal teams to identify pain points and gather input for process improvements.
- Actively contribute ideas and solutions during brainstorming sessions or improvement planning.
- Contributing to Organizational Objectives:
- Support the delivery of tangible outputs for departmental projects, such as process improvement proposals, updated documentation, or actionable recommendations.
- Work on assigned tasks with clear deadlines to ensure contributions align with departmental goals.
- Knowledge Transfer:
- Share knowledge and insights gained during the VTS program by preparing documentation, guides, or presentations for future use.
- General Support:
- Assist the department in other assigned tasks, including administrative support, to contribute to the team’s overall efficiency.
- Assist in gathering data, analyzing processes, and identifying areas for improvement.
Minimum Requirements:
- Fresh graduate with Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or equivalent
- Proficient use in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva
- Internship or coursework related to improvement system applications, data analysis, or workflow is a plus advantage
- Familiarity with Power BI and Visio is an advantage
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Good interpersonal, writing and communications skills
- Can work at our office located in Plaza Sentral, Kuala Lumpur.
