Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a service advisor to welcome customers, manage planned appointments and walk-ins, and communicate servicing progress with empathy. You will capture precise work instructions and perform vehicle checks to identify upselling opportunities.

Responsibilities include processing repair orders, keeping customers informed, and ensuring timely completion. Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia, plus automotive experience, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Certificate / Diploma in Automotive Engineering or related field.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
• Pleasant personality, professional and performance oriented.
• Possess technical experience in the automotive industry would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Receive/assist customers with planned appointments and/or walk ins.
• Listen and understand customer concerns with empathy.
• Capture detailed and accurate work instructions.
• Carry out a thorough check of the vehicle and identify all possible upselling.
• Establish an agreed fixed time of completion of the work to be carried out.
• Maintain an accurate record of all work checked in for the day.
• Repair Order preparation and monitoring.
• Ensure that all customers are kept well informed of progress.
• Communicate updated completion times due to additional work or parts.
• Follow up on parts on order and update WIP accordingly.
• Ensure accurate invoicing and explain it clearly to the customer.
• Post service follow-up to measure satisfaction and address complaints.
