Job summary

Bosch in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to drive new product introductions and line setup for mass production. You will coordinate MAE/EWAK investments, run line buy-offs, and ensure processes meet capability targets.

You will lead continuous improvement projects, perform failure analysis, and support cross-functional teams on quality and throughput initiatives. Strong documentation and training skills are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
Minimum 3 years in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with NPI, manufacturing docs (WI, CP, FMEA, SPC, VT, Line Balancing).
Knowledge of ISO 9001, TS16949, IEC/EN60745, 62841, and product safety standards.

Responsibilities

Lead new product line setup, MAE/EWAK investments and line releases for mass production.
Perform line buy-off, pilot/run readiness and capability studies for equipment and processes.
Drive continuous improvement via value stream methods and KPI tracking.
Coordinate ALR projects, problem solving (PSS/8D) and line change approvals.
Provide training to supervisors and maintenance staff on assembly processes and quality tools.
