Job summary

KMWE Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled technician to load/unload high-value components into vacuum ovens, set up bakeout profiles and monitor vacuum systems in a cleanroom environment.

The role requires 1–3 years of hands-on manufacturing experience with vacuum equipment, careful documentation, and adherence to SOPs. Willingness to work shifts and support ERP-driven production is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment with vacuum systems and high-temperature ovens preferred.
• Good understanding of vacuum principles, pressure, leaks and pump operation.
• Ability to operate delicate equipment and high-value components with care.
• Detail-oriented, disciplined in following SOPs and quality requirements.
• Proficient in recording process data and maintaining documentation.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload high-value components into vacuum ovens with traceability.
• Set up and execute bakeout profiles per temperature/dwell/cooldown specs.
• Operate and monitor vacuum systems including pumps and gauges.
• Perform RGA scans and record residual gas data per SOPs.
• Monitor vacuum pressure and RGA results for quality compliance.
• Conduct pre- and post-bakeout visual inspections for contamination.
• Maintain strict cleanroom practices including gowning and material handling.
• Maintain equipment: check O-rings, clean flanges and monitor oil levels.
• Record parameters: pump-down time, temperature, vacuum and RGA results.
• Identify and escalate abnormal equipment or process conditions.
• Follow ERP production planning to support optimization.
