United Disinfectant Manufacturers Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a creative UI/UX & Visual Designer to craft intuitive digital experiences across websites, web apps, and marketing materials.

This hands-on role spans concepts, user flows, wireframes, prototypes to high-fidelity interfaces, reusable design systems, and production-ready artwork, working closely with developers and internal teams to deliver visually consistent solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in UI/UX Design, Digital Media Design, Interactive Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent design software.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, responsive design, and usability.
• Ability to create high-fidelity interface designs, reusable components, templates, and design systems.
• Strong understanding of typography, layout, spacing, visual hierarchy, and design consistency.
• Ability to create vector artwork, icons, illustrations, and other visual assets.
• Good understanding of print artwork preparation and production requirements.
• Good understanding of web design principles.
• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to design quality.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity interface designs.
• Design responsive and user-friendly interfaces for websites, web applications, and mobile platforms.
• Translate business and user requirements into clear and practical design solutions.
• Develop and maintain design systems, reusable UI components, templates, and design standards.
• Ensure consistency across different applications, platforms, and screen sizes.
• Conduct basic usability testing and improve designs based on feedback and project requirements.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of approved designs.
• Review implemented interfaces and identify opportunities to improve usability, consistency, and visual quality.
• Create visual concepts and layouts for digital and printed communication.
• Design icons, illustrations, vector artwork, graphics, and other visual elements.
• Create advertisements, promotional materials, social media graphics, website visuals, presentations, and other marketing assets.
• Develop reusable visual templates for recurring communication requirements.
• Ensure consistent application of brand identity across all materials.
• Prepare production-ready artwork for printed materials.
• Ensure correct dimensions, resolution, bleed, file formats, and other production specifications.
• Coordinate design requirements with internal teams and external production partners where necessary.
• Review artwork before production to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Support product photography and photoshoots when required.
• Assist with video shoots & preparation of supporting visual materials.
• Prepare and edit visual assets for use across digital and marketing platforms.
• Work closely with Marketing, Sales, IT, Software Development, Product Management, and other internal teams.
• Manage multiple design projects and priorities simultaneously.
• Take ownership of assigned design projects from initial brief through final delivery.
• Maintain organised design files, components, templates, and project documentation.
• Support other relevant design and creative activities as required.
