Job description

We are seeking an experienced UX/UI Designer to lead our user experience design initiatives. This role requires a visionary who can independently develop comprehensive UI/UX strategies, utilizing the latest trends and methodologies for design and user testing.

You will play a key role in understanding customer needs, visualizing business opportunities, and demonstrating customer value. Your primary goal will be to collaborate with business teams to create impactful designs that embody our customer-centric vision across various channels.

You will demonstrate high-quality design practices, conceptualize original ideas that simplify complex challenges, and illustrate design concepts using storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps.

Key Responsibilities:

• Visualize complex information and concepts simply and effectively across design channels and touchpoints.
• Manage multiple design projects from concept to completion independently.
• Understand project requirements and produce engaging design solutions.
• Develop UI mock-ups and high-fidelity prototypes that demonstrate site functionality and create original graphics.
• Create final design solutions including banners, interfaces, presentations, and infographics, progressing from drafts to prototypes.
• Pitch creative ideas to enhance projects.
• Collaborate with team members to launch designs.
• Support multiple projects with special design tasks.
• Facilitate design discussions and workshops with users and stakeholders from business, tech, and marketing.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gain customer insights for co-creation.
• Develop user experience and customer journey designs as needed.
• Apply Design Thinking methodologies in projects, translating customer needs into effective prototypes.

Your skills and experience:

• 5-8+ years of experience in UX/UI, preferably in the financial services sector.
• Proficiency with design software (e.g., InVision, Figma), graphics tools (e.g., Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator), and user journey tools (e.g., Smaply, MURAL).
• Experience with sprint participation, prototyping, and understanding of design thinking methodologies.
