Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Selangor is looking for a skilled individual to assist in the installation of fire alarm systems and related tasks. Responsibilities include preparing daily maintenance reports and ensuring project safety. The ideal candidate will have at least a diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Engineering, possess Class B2 and D driving licenses, and have the ability to travel. Knowledge in conduits and fire safety systems is advantageous, along with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• SPM/STPM Leaver or Diploma/Professional Certificate in a relevant discipline.
• Able to drive manual vehicles and possess Class B2 & D licenses.
• Knowledge in conduits and fire protection/safety systems is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist manager or engineer in installing building fire alarm systems.

• Manage project safety at the workplace and work permits for site inspections.

Job description

• To assist manager or engineer in installation of building fire alarm system and related repair works.
• To prepare servicing & maintenance report for commercial buildings on a daily basis.
• To upkeep/maintain individual parts, tools, and equipment allocated.
• To manage & coordinate project safety at workplace, as well as work permits for site visits and inspections.
• To coordinate safety induction and toolbox meeting for technical team and subcontractors for every project/rectification work.
• To perform any other jobs assigned by superiors or management team.

Requirements

• SPM/STPM Leaver or Diploma/Professional Certificate in Mechanical/Electrical/Fire Engineering, or any other relevant discipline.
• Possess following driving licenses: Class B2 & D (Able to drive manual would be an added advantage).
• Willing to travel and Own Transport added Advantage
• Knowledge in conduits would be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in operation, configuration, and troubleshooting of fire protection/safety systems would be an added advantage.
• Able to communicate in both English and Malay.
• Able to work in a team.
