Job summary

Qualifications

• Engineering Diploma / Degree with 4-5 years of job-related in facilities management.
• Strong experienced and technical knowledge in electrical & mechanical maintenance.
• Liaise with local authorities to ensure fire safety compliance and renewal of FC.
• Experience in energy management and system efficiency optimization.
• Regulatory compliance experience is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is an added advantage.
• Must meet physical requirements including lifting heavy loads.

About The Role

As a CBRE Technical Supervisor, you will guide a team responsible for cross-functional projects and programs. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee the progress of cross-functional projects or programs from end to end.
• Facilitate the development of a charter and integrated timeline.
• Ensure that the team remains on schedule. Resolve escalated issues in a timely manner.
• Manage internal and external relationships with vendors. Seek out new vendors, obtain pricing, and approve contracts.
• Work with core teams to develop solutions and manage project teams throughout delivery.
• Create, maintain, and distribute routine reports and present them to management and clients.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions.
• Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement.
• Impact a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams.

What You’ll Need

• Engineering Diploma / Degree with 4-5 years of job-related in facilities management.
• Strong experienced and technical knowledge in electrical & mechanical maintenance.
• Liaise with local authorities, specifically the Fire and Rescue Department of Malaysia (Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia), to ensure full compliance with fire safety regulations and timely renewal of the premises' Fire Certificate (FC / Sijil Perakuan Bomba).
• Experienced in energy management, system efficiency optimization, renewable technology implementation, and regulatory compliance.
• Prior supervisory experience is an added advantage.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to exercise judgment based on the evaluation of multiple sources of information.
• Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
