[URGENT] Assistant Account/Finance Manager (Up to RM 8K || HQ Based) -P12

Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (Mon-Fri)

Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensure payments are accurate and timely
2. Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices
3. Monitor backlog invoices and direct teams to reduce backlog
4. Review vendor reconciliation and address overdue items
5. Ensure KPIs for Accounts Receivable and Payable are met, including timely invoice processing and payment
6. Develop action plans to help the team achieve KPIs
7. Verify and review supplier payments, staff commission claims, and trade applications
8. Develop and implement SOPs and internal control procedures
9. Ensure timely submission of Inland Revenue Board (IRB) tax returns and compliance
10. Manage Tax Planning and Compliance
11. Review statutory audit reports, inventory management, and Debtors Ageing Report
12. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, etc.
13. Lead, coach, and manage the finance team effectively
14. Perform other ad-hoc tasks as requested by management

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CPA/MIA)
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a related role with managerial responsibilities
• Good command of Mandarin (spoken and written) is an added advantage
• Own transport and valid driving license
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced setting
