PETROS in Malaysia seeks an experienced finance professional to drive financial analysis across upstream JV operations and key projects. You will align planning and performance with company objectives in the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities include monitoring JV cost performance, reviewing QAA and WP&B, ensuring PSC/JOA compliance, delivering insights for value creation, and leading JV audits with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting with professional qualification (MIA/ACCA/CPA/CA).
10 years of accounting experience, upstream knowledge advantageous.
Strong IFRS knowledge and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

Provide financial support for upstream operations by monitoring JV cost performance and reviewing partner billings.
Deliver value-added financial insights to enhance PSC assets’ economic value.
Lead JV audits and prepare reports with clear findings and recommendations.
Monitor P&L and Free Cash Flow for assigned PSCs and advise management.
Engage with internal/external stakeholders to ensure transparent financial communication.
Assist ERP improvements (e.g., SAP) to strengthen controls and reporting.
